baby cakes – Bloomington

I recently started a venture in which I am making baby cakes for people to give as gifts to expectant mothers.  The cakes aren't actually cakes that you eat.  They are entirely functional baby gifts put together in the shape of a cake.  If you happen to have any pregnant friends or family at the moment, please consider buying one...They can be used as baby shower centerpieces and/or simply given as gifts.  I've attached pictures of the four that I've made now.  Generally, the person that is buying would just need to tell me how much they want to spend on it and if they have a color or theme preference (examples: duck, sports, puppy, boats, butterflies, Pooh, Sesame Street, frogs, airplanes, safari, pink/green, blue/yellow, etc.).  It'll probably make more sense once you see the pictures.  I can also purchase a gift card to Kohl’s, Target, or Macy’s (optional) to include in the cake (for an additional cost).  The cakes can include tons of different things, including diapers, bathing items, washcloths, socks, bottles, bibs, pacifiers, gift cards, stuffed animals, teethers, and/or onesies, etc., all of which are to be used when the baby is born. 

To give you an idea of cost, in the pictures I've attached, something similar to "Jenna", "Nik" or "L" would be around $60, and something similar to "Ethan" would be $200 (that one actually has $125.00 worth of baby stuff in it and took 3 hours to make).  Please email me at alstahl@insightbb.com with the subject line “baby cakes” if you are interested in a purchase.
